INSURANCE ALERT

The Club insurance carrier has advised us that all guest shooters will be required to sign a disclaimer holding the Club harmless from liability for accidents. Forms are being developed in an effort to make the required procedure as painless as possible. It is our hope that all members will cooperate and see that their shooting guests complete the required paper work before shooting on the Club ranges.

It is anticipated that a procedure will be developed for the shotgun sports and any other activities that already start in the clubhouse. This will include sporting clays, trap, and shooting associated with the oyster feed. A separate procedure will be developed for the rifle range, pistol range, and the archery range. It seems to be desirable that we have a single book for these ranges with a bit more information required from non members or guest shooters. Members will continue to provide name, date, and time in and out.

Many clubs and probably all shooting preserves already are required to keep these records

RIFLE RANGE

The two wooden portable target stands on the rifle range are for shotgun patterning only... Please only use these wooden stands from 20 yards to 50 yards. Using these stands in any other way is unsafe.

The lights on the rifle range that were shot out have been replaced by your dues money.

No member shall use the ranges while maintenance of any kind is being performed.
